I’m going to share with you a diet trick that you can start using right now to help you lose weight. I call it my “weekend diet,” because on weekdays I eat normal, healthy food like chicken (no fried), fish, and fruit. On the weekends, I switch to more protein and complex carbohydrates. Here’s what I do:
Every Friday night I go out to a place where they have kebabs and sit in front of the TV with them. I usually have an all kebab meal. I also drink some mixed drinks from various restaurants. Normally I don’t snack on Friday nights. The reason for this is that on many diets people are trying to lose weight so bad that they need to make sure they are not tempted to snack during the day.
If you are like me and like eating chicken and steak and a lot of veggies, then you might be missing out on one of the most important meals of your week: Friday night dinner with your family. Eating this food alone in the middle of the week can be a real downer, especially if you tend to snack throughout the day. So, when I switch my eating habits around, I make sure I make a protein shake while I’m eating it. It’s a little extra boost for me and helps me stick to the diet.
