Intermittent Fasting Diet
In intermittent fasting the body’s metabolism does not switch to a regular feeding pattern like a lot of other diets. Rather it switches to a maintenance mode, in which it burns calories at a very low rate. In traditional terms this would be classified as a “calorie Restriction Diet” though it is more commonly known as intermittent fasting. The main reason why this diet is called intermittent fasting is because it is done for only a few days at a time. intermittent fasting can range from one day to several weeks.
In intermittent fasting, the body burns fat primarily through the skin and small intestine, rather than through the large bowel as with other diet plans. In traditional terms this would be classified as a “rapid-immune disorder diet”, though it is more commonly referred to as alternating calorie-restricted eating patterns over a long period of time. Intermittant fasting is done by eating only one meal per day, or sometimes even only one meal per week. This allows the body to go into a “starvation mode” where it burns calories at a very low rate.
It should be noted that this form of dieting is not right for everyone, and some people have a serious problem with it. If you are suffering from a medical condition, you must talk to your doctor before starting an intermittent fasting diet. Another major warning sign that an individual may be abusing intermittent fasting is if they start eating large amounts of food in order to lose weight. In addition you must make sure to eat your meals at certain times on each day. You must monitor your calorie intake closely so that you do not put yourself into starvation mode.
